Please Note
Outside of the competition these reserves are
for 2 legged adventures or mountain bikes only.
NPWS welcomes riders to the 50th Tom Quilty Gold Cup and to enjoy with you the tradition of Endurance Riding events within the conservation reserve system.
During the competition you will be riding through the natural beauty of Parr State Conservation Area and the World Heritage listed Yengo National Park which showcases pristine areas of bushland and expansive views across this vast landscape. These reserves protect more than 40 different eucalypt species and numerous rare and threatened plants and animals including the endangered Brush-tailed Rock-wallaby and Regent Honeyeater.
You can play your part in the ongoing challenge to conserve our reserves by treading softly on your journey and following the guidelines and regulations of the ride.
We are glad to be able to celebrate with you the 50th anniversary of Endurance riding in this area and the significance of the Tom Quilty Gold Cup returning to this special place. We wish you all a very successful and safe ride.
